Spain to See Slowest Quarterly Growth in Two Years, Central Bank Forecasts

Spain’s economy will grow at the slowest pace in almost two years this quarter, according to new forecasts from the central bank.

Gross domestic product will rise by 0.5%-0.6%, the Bank of Spain said Tuesday. While still “relatively high,” it could point to the start of a slowdown, it said. GDP increased by the upper end of that range in the first three months — the smallest advance since 2023.
