There’s little sign of that yet, but as Donald Trump ramps up attacks on elite universities across America, Roth isn’t taking any chances. As with many colleges, most foreign students at Wesleyan — who make up 10% of its total — pay full price, which now approaches $100,000 a year. So Roth is mulling the unusual step of admitting more students this fall to offset any drop-off.
