Fed’s Bostic Wants More Progress on Inflation, in No Rush to Cut
Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta President Raphael Bostic said he’s in no rush to move interest rates, adding he wants to see “a lot” more progress on inflation despite recent encouraging price data.
“There’s still a ways to go in terms of the progress that we’re going to need to see,” Bostic said in a phone call with reporters Tuesday. “I’m not declaring victory on inflation yet.”
