The ruling coalition in the Netherlands will hold a second day of emergency meetings Tuesday in a bid to avoid a government collapse over the country’s migration policy.

Geert Wilders on Sunday threatened to pull his far-right Freedom Party out of the government if the coalition refused to agree to his proposals to curb migration by closing the borders to asylum seekers, temporarily halting family reunification and returning asylum seekers to Syria.
