The ruling coalition in the Netherlands failed to reach an agreement over plans pushed by the far-right Freedom Party to curb migration and is set to continue talks on Tuesday.

An emergency meeting held Monday evening between coalition leaders ended without consensus on Freedom Party leader Geert Wilders’ ten-point plan, which includes a temporary halt to family reunification, sending Syrians back to Syria, and closing the borders to asylum seekers.
