Peru Lima Inflation Index Surprisingly Falls in May

Consumer prices fell 0.06% month-on-month, compared to the median forecast of 10 economists who expected inflation to rise 0.13%. On an annual basis, the inflation index rose slightly to 1.69%, lower than the 1.87% forecast.
