Hedge Funds Tout Japanese Tires, Hungarian Drugs at Sohn HK

Hedge funds pitched investment ideas ranging from a Japanese tiremaker to a Hungarian pharmaceutical company at the Sohn Hong Kong Investment Leaders Conference on Friday.

Chinese tech giants PDD Holdings Inc., Baidu Inc. and Didi Global Inc. were also touted at the annual gathering in support of the Karen Leung Foundation. Other picks included Japanese mall operator Round One Corp. and eye drugmaker Santen Pharmaceutical Co. Indian companies also featured, including real estate developer Sunteck Realty Ltd. and drug store chain MedPlus Health Services Ltd.
