US Stocks Fall as Nvidia’s First-Quarter Earnings Draw Near

The S&P 500 Index closed down 0.6% in New York, pulling back from a strong risk-on rally in the prior session. Meanwhile the tech-heavy Nasdaq 100 Index finished 0.5% lower. Treasuries pared losses after a $70 billion auction of new five-year securities lured solid investor demand.
