European Stocks Gain for Second Day as US Moves Tariff Deadline
European stocks rose for a second day as investors welcomed President Donald Trump’s decision to extend a tariff deadline for the European Union.
The Stoxx Europe 600 Index gained 0.3% by the close. Travel and leisure, technology and industrial sectors outperformed the most. Trump on Sunday said he would postpone the deadline for the EU to face 50% levies until July 9.
