Steelworkers Boss Urges Trump to Block Takeover of US Steel

United Steelworkers President David McCall urged President Donald Trump to block Nippon Steel Corp.’s bid to purchase United States Steel Corp., reiterating his opposition to the controversial proposed merger.

His comments come after the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States was expected to submit its recommendations to Trump after the president ordered another review of the deal back in April.
