EDF Begins Review of Renewable Projects After Facing Construction Setbacks

Electricite de France SA may adopt a more cautious approach to renewable-energy projects after encountering construction snags and cost overruns for wind-farm developments.

The state-owned utility is launching a broad review of its clean-power developments to avoid a repeat of the delays and budget overruns recently seen at the Courseulles-sur-Mer wind farm off France’s northwest coast, people familiar with the matter said, asking not to be identified as the information isn’t public.
