SocGen CEO Krupa Says He Has Completed ‘Bulk’ of Unit Sales

Societe Generale SA is largely done selling units, Chief Executive Officer Slawomir Krupa told shareholders, as the French lender is setting its sights on growth again.

“We have completed the bulk of the divestment program we had announced,” Krupa said Tuesday at SocGen’s annual general meeting near Paris. The bank will continue to assess its various businesses, which could lead to further sales this year or next, he said.
