China Gives EU Business Groups High-Level Meetings

China is giving European business leaders its warmest welcome in years, in an effort to strengthen ties as Beijing seeks to counter Donald Trump’s tariff pressure and stabilize its slowing economy.

The Chinese government in recent weeks has offered delegations rare, unscripted access to senior policymakers and showered them with assurances of improved conditions, according to European business groups.
