Trump Says Rubio Heading to Istanbul for Ukraine-Russia Talks

President Donald Trump said Secretary of State Marco Rubio and other US officials will go to Istanbul later this week for potential talks between the Russian and Ukrainian leaders, even if there’s still no certainty that Vladimir Putin will show up.
“They could produce some pretty good results,” Trump said Tuesday in Riyadh, the first stop in his visit to the Middle East this week, about the possibility of peace negotiations to end the conflict in Ukraine.
