Senegal Begins Oil-to-Gas Conversion at Wärtsilä Power Project

Senegal began converting a power plant to operate on liquefied natural gas, after exporting its first consignment of the fuel last month.
The conversion from heavy fuel oil to LNG at the Bel Air power plant in the capital, Dakar, began on Tuesday, state-owned power company Senelec said in a statement.
