Three Singapore ministers dined with a China-born resident years before he was convicted in a record money laundering case in the city-state, according to photos of the gatherings and a local businessman who said he hosted them.

The ministers were photographed at meals with Su Haijin, who was later arrested during a 2023 police raid. The 42-year-old Cypriot national, who hails from China’s southern Fujian province, was among 10 individuals who were convicted and jailed last year for being part of a S$3 billion ($2.3 billion) laundering ring.
