US stocks fell Monday, snapping the longest winning streak in two decades, as mixed messages on trade policy clouded the market outlook.

The S&P 500 declined 0.6%, with 10 of the 11 sectors finishing the day lower. The Nasdaq 100 Index lost 0.7% amid a 8.4% drop in ON Semiconductor Corp. The Dow Jones Industrial Average slipped 0.2%.
