Germany’s new lower gas storage targets will come into force on Tuesday as the country aims to ease pressure on fuel stockpiling efforts.

After supply concerns led to sharp price distortions earlier this year, Germany last week outlined new goals for refilling storage sites. The ministerial ordinance will take effect Tuesday after being published in the Federal Law Gazette on Monday.
