Uncork Capital, one of Silicon Valley’s more prominent early-stage investment firms, has raised $300 million — a significant amount in a difficult climate for venture capital funding.
The firm made its name as one of the earliest backers of companies like Poshmark Inc., Postmates Inc., Eventbrite and Fitbit. It also was early to invest in billion-dollar startups like Tailscale Inc., Human Interest Inc. and LaunchDarkly.
