Fiera’s Michel to Leave as Public CIO as Canadian Firm Restructures

The chief investment officer of Fiera Capital Corp.’s public markets unit, Jean Michel, is leaving the asset management firm along with a small number of colleagues.

The group’s portfolio managers will now fall under Chief Executive Officer Jean-Guy Desjardins and Canada head Maxime Menard, according to an email seen by Bloomberg News.
