Shares of Chinese smart-device manufacturers rose after President Xi Jinping visited an artificial-intelligence innovation center in Shanghai.

YingTong Telecommunication Co.,Ltd., which makes wireless acoustic parts and bluetooth headphones used in AI glasses, jumped by the 10% limit in Shenzhen. Shenzhen Rapoo Technology Co., which manufactures consumer electronics parts, gained more than 6%, while industrial robotics company Guangzhou Risong Intelligent Technology Holding Co., surged 11%.
