Alleged Israeli Hacker Loses Bid to Block Extradition to US

An Israeli private investigator, alleged to have worked for a Washington lobbying firm and hacked climate activists, failed to block his extradition to face criminal charges in the US.
A London court refused to stop the extradition of Amit Forlit, facing charges linked to wire fraud and computer hacking between 2012 and 2019. The 57-year-old investigator was arrested last year at Heathrow Airport after the US authorities accused him being part of a “hacking for hire” scheme.
