North Korean leader Kim Jong Un observed the testing of naval missile and artillery systems earlier this week, state media Korean Central News Agency reported Wednesday, days after acknowledging for the first time that Pyongyang was aiding Moscow’s war on Ukraine.
The military conducted tests on April 28 and April 29 of hypersonic missile, strategic-cruise missile, anti-aircraft missile and artillery, with Kim declaring that his forces need to accelerate efforts to arm its navy with nuclear weapons, according to the KCNA report.
