The Samueli Family, owners of the National Hockey League’s Anaheim Ducks, on Tuesday unveiled a $1 billion privately financed redevelopment of Honda Center, the city-owned arena in Anaheim, California, that serves as the team’s home ice.
The initiative includes plans to build a five-story entrance designed for giant digital displays and public gatherings, revamped food and beverage areas with self-checkout and a luxury club-level. The overhaul, which is set to continue through 2027, also features new premium suites and four redesigned entry plazas. Arena operator OC Sports & Entertainment, an affiliate of the Ducks, said the stadium will remain operational during the renovation.
