Former Paramount Global Chief Executive Officer Bob Bakish was paid $87 million last year, despite serving in that role for only four months, according to a regulatory filing Friday.
Bakish stepped down from his position in April 2024 and was replaced by a trio of Paramount’s most senior executives — film and kids programming chief Brian Robbins, Showtime/MTV head Chris McCarthy and George Cheeks, who leads CBS. The four executives were paid a total of $148 million last year, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing. Bakish, who also left the board in April, served as a non-executive Senior Advisor to the company until the end of October.
