Tesla Trims Spending Plan After Its Stingiest Quarter Since 2021

Tesla Inc. pared its outlook for capital expenditures this year, cautioning that changes in trade policies may set back its timelines for unspecified projects.

The company said in a regulatory filing Wednesday that it now anticipates spending more than $10 billion this year. Three months ago, Tesla told investors the figure would exceed $11 billion this year and each of the next two years.
