Japanese robot maker Fanuc Corp. refrained from giving a full-year profit forecast, saying it needs to assess the fallout from US President Donald Trump’s tariffs and their impact on the global economy.
The company will disclose an outlook “once a reasonable calculation is possible,” Fanuc said in a filing on Wednesday. Fanuc has typically given an earnings guidance, along with the foreign exchange assumptions on which it bases its calculations.
