Ken Griffin said he agrees with some of Donald Trump’s criticisms of Harvard University, even if he opposes the president’s escalation of the fight with the school.

“The president is spot on that Harvard has room to address some very important and meaningful issues,” and the school has made progress on many of the issues, Griffin, a Harvard alumnus, said Wednesday at a conference hosted by Semafor. “I agree with the administration’s diagnoses of the issue, but I disagree with how we’ve escalated so quickly an attack on one of America’s preeminent brands.”
