Chatbot Arena, an academic research project whose website has become a popular place for visitors to try out new artificial intelligence models, is turning into a company.
Chatbot Arena’s leaders on Thursday announced the formation of LMArena, which they hope will let them expand more quickly. The platform allows people to test a slew of cutting-edge AI models head-to-head — and then vote for the ones they prefer on the site’s leaderboards, which are closely watched by the tech community.
