Ireland’s Kerrygold Butter Maker Says US Tariffs May Hit Growing Streak

Kerrygold butter maker Ornua has sold most of the stockpiles it exported to the US ahead of a potential trade war as the threat of tariffs cloud its American sales outlook.
“Whatever product was available to us that was allocated to the US market, we moved well in advance of the end of the calendar year, and that was in anticipation of a potential change,” Ornua Chief Executive Officer Conor Galvin said. “We’re somewhat a victim of our own success in that a lot of that stuff is sold and moved through.”
