Germany’s Uniper Signs 13-Year LNG Deal With Woodside

Uniper SE signed a 13-year deal with Woodside Energy Group Ltd. for liquefied natural gas purchases.
The German utility will get 1 million tons of LNG a year from Woodside’s proposed Louisiana facility for 13 years, the companies said. Uniper will also get up to 1 million tons from the Australian gas producer’s existing supply when the US plant begins operations, through 2039.
