France Unveils Fresh Support for Fledgling Hydrogen Industry

France unveiled new support for the hydrogen industry after a series of project setbacks cast doubt on a fuel billed as critical to reaching net zero.

A tender to subsidize purchases of hydrogen-powered vans will be held later this year, the Economy Ministry said in a statement Wednesday. It will also offer support to electrolyzer maker Gen-Hy and a number of research projects.
