Figma, a startup that makes app design and collaboration software, has filed confidentially for an initial public offering, over a year after a planned merger with Adobe Inc. fell apart.

The San Francisco-based company has submitted a draft registration statement to the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said in a blog post Tuesday. Figma was valued at $12.5 billion in a 2024 share sale.
