The White House is renewing its opposition to a court order that took effect Monday restoring the Associated Press’ full access to cover President Donald Trump, saying it may soon ask the US Supreme Court to intervene.

Meanwhile, the AP released a statement midday saying the White House had continued to block its journalists from the Oval Office. The outlet didn’t say if it planned to go back to court to enforce the injunction. A White House spokesperson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
