A New Mexico man was charged in connection with two arson attacks on a Tesla Inc. dealership and the state’s Republican Party headquarters, what prosecutors described as “domestic terrorism” linked to widespread protests against Tesla Chief Executive Officer Elon Musk.
The Saturday arrest of Jamison Wagner, 40, an Albuquerque resident, was foreshadowed last week by Attorney General Pam Bondi, who promised President Donald Trump at a White House cabinet meeting that another “huge arrest” tied to the Tesla vandalism would be announced imminently.
