Macron Approval Rating Slips One Percentage Point to 26% in Poll

French President Emmanuel Macron’s approval rating fell one percentage point to 26%, according to a poll by Ipsos-Cesi École d’Ingénieurs for La Tribune Dimanche newspaper.

About 22% of those polled said they had a favorable view of the President and 4% very favorable, according to the poll. 41% had a “very unfavorable” view of him. Prime Minister Francois Bayrou’s approval rating also dropped one point since the last survey, to 24%.
