The US extradited a man long-sought by India for his alleged role in the 2008 Mumbai attacksBloomberg Terminal as the two countries work together to combat the “global scourge of terrorism,” Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.

Tahawwur Hussain Rana, a Canadian citizen, was accused of masterminding the three-day seige of gun and grenade attacks on luxury hotels, a popular tourist spot and a Jewish center in Mumbai, which left more than 160 people dead, including six Americans, and hundreds injured. Nine militants were also killed.
