The anti-establishment blog, which publishes posts under a pseudonym and has more than 2 million followers on X, was given a slot in the pool reserved for representatives of “new media,” according to a press schedule email sent Wednesday night by the Trump administration’s Office of Communications. White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in January that the administration was opening up the briefing room to “new media members whose outlets, despite being some of the most-viewed news websites in the country, have not been given seats in this room.”
