Design software provider Canva Inc. unveiled products to boost its generative artificial intelligence offerings, seeking to attract corporate customers away from rival Adobe Inc. as it heads toward an initial public offering.

Australia-based Canva’s new features include a conversation-based AI tool, which responds to voice and text prompts to edit photos, generate slide decks and resize designs. Its new tools, launched at a company event in Los Angeles on Thursday, can also generate code for app or website design based on simple prompts.
