Trump Official Still Weighing Options on NYC Congestion Pricing

Photographer: Jeenah Moon/BloombergUS Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is still evaluating his options for what to do if New York doesn’t shut down its controversial congestion pricing program later this month, a lawyer for the federal government told a judge.
Dominika Tarczynska, a lawyer representing the US Department of Transportation, said during a court hearing on Wednesday that while the federal government still believes that New York should stop charging tolls under the program by April 20, it hasn’t made any decision on what to do if the state doesn’t comply with its directive.
