Harley-Davidson Inc. Chief Executive Officer Jochen Zeitz plans to step down, wrapping a five-year tenure marked by challenges in the motorcycle market and halting diversity efforts inside the company.
The board has retained an executive search firm as part of a succession process that began in late 2024, when Zeitz expressed a desire to retire, according to a statement Tuesday. He’ll remain as CEO until a replacement is identified, Harley said.
