Ford Rolls Out Discounts to Reassure Car Buyers on Tariffs

Ford Motor Co. recognizes a selling opportunity when it sees one. With President Donald Trump’s tariffs unsettling the economy, the automaker is rolling out deep discounts on most of its lineup to try to keep customers coming into its dealers’ showrooms.
Between April 3 and June 2, Ford is offering all buyers the same discount it extends to its employees, which it said are prices that are below what a car dealership pays the manufacturer and represent a “substantial savings.”
