Euro-area inflation eased further toward the European Central Bank’s 2% target as officials weigh whether or not to continue lowering interest rates.

Consumer prices rose 2.2% from a year ago in March, down from 2.3% in February, Eurostat said Tuesday. That matches the median estimate in a Bloomberg survey of economists.
