European natural gas posted its first weekly loss in three as the heating season draws to an end and attention shifts to restocking for next winter.

Benchmark futures fell on Friday, ending the week with a 4.7% decline. Warmer weather across the continent, coupled with strong imports of liquefied natural gas — which jumped to a seasonal record recently — added pressure on prices.
