UK Drops Migrant Hotels Firm Over Performance Concerns

The UK government is cutting ties with a company that provides accommodation for asylum seekers, citing “value for money” concerns which included flaws in its performance and behavior.

Stay Belvedere Hotels currently runs 51 hotels used by the government to house migrants awaiting asylum decisions. The Home Office declined to reveal how many people were currently living in those premises, but said they would be relocated to existing capacity within its accommodation network without new hotels being opened.
