A planned visit by US officials to Greenland this week is putting “unacceptable pressure” on the island and on Denmark, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen said.
Usha Vance, the wife of Vice President JD Vance, is due to travel with her son and a delegation to Greenland on Thursday. Mike Waltz, the US national security adviser and Energy Secretary Chris Wright will also fly to the semi-autonomous territory of Denmark, according to the Financial Times.
