Turkey’s state energy company Botas is seeking to procure up to two liquefied natural gas carriers, marking the firm’s entry into international shipping as it tries to become a global trader of the fuel.

Botas invited market participants in February to submit indicative offers to charter or sell the vessels, with a deadline of mid-March, according to a document seen by Bloomberg.
