SmartStop Self Storage Seeks Up to $972 Million in NYSE Listing

SmartStop Self Storage REIT Inc. is seeking to raise as much as about $972 million in an offering as the self-storage facilities business looks to list itself on the New York Stock Exchange.

The Ladera Ranch, California-based firm plans to market 27 million shares for $28 to $36 each, according to a Monday filingBloomberg Terminal with the US Securities and Exchange Commission. At the top of that range, SmartStop would have a market value of more than $1.8 billion.
