Putin’s Security Aide Briefs Pyongyang on Russia-US Talks

A top security aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin visited Pyongyang to meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un amid talk of a potential summit between the two leaders.
Russian Security Council Secretary Sergei Shoigu discussed the renewed contacts between Moscow and Washington, as well as the situation in Ukraine, with Kim, according to comments he made broadcast by Russian state television. The two spoke for more than two hours, Shoigu told reporters after the meeting on Friday, according to the Interfax news service.
