Money managers slashed bullish bets on natural gas by the most in a year as mild forecasts threaten to deplete demand for the heating fuel.
Long-only positions across seven natural gas contracts fell by 65,372 contracts to 626,232 in the week ending March 18, according to the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. That drove net-long positions to the lowest in more than a month.
